Gopal Venkatesan

Gopal Venkatesan brings nearly 38 years of experience across the global pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical sectors — roughly 19 of them based in India, and the remainder in the United States.

Most recently, he served as President of Wockhardt's U.S. business from 2022. Across his career, he has paired senior business leadership with two decades of expertise creating and acquiring wide-ranging product portfolios — spanning first-to-market products, complex generics, biosimilars, and novel therapies.

At Intelligentzia Capital Management, he draws on that breadth to help evaluate opportunities and structure transactions across the life sciences. Gopal is a graduate of Harvard School of Business.
